Below is a step by step process of buying.
Step 1 – Mortgage Pre-qualification
We will ask you if have been pre-qualified and/or pre-approved by a mortgage lender. If you have not been pre-qualified, we will assist you in obtaining a free pre-qualification from one of our preferred lending institutions.This will allow you to answer the question “How much home can I afford?”
Step 2– Questionnaire
We will ask you a series of detail questions regarding the description of the home you are looking for so that we can better help you find the right home. We will also ask you “What are 3 features a home absolutely must have in order for you to even consider living in it?”
Step 3 – Tour of Selected Homes On Paper
We will show you all the inventory of homes that meet your criteria and are currently are on the market. These are all the homes in the MLS and our in-house inventory. We will ask you to select the homes that are of interest to you.
Step 4 – Preview on your Own
We will ask you if you would like to drive by the selected homes and view the area, as well as the exterior of the specific homes. Please do not disturb the occupants when doing this.
Step 5 – Make Appointment To Show The Home
We will schedule a showing of the homes that you express an interest in. After every home we look at, we will ask you “Why didn’t we buy this one?”
Step 6 – Paperwork
If we find the right house, we will come back to the office and go over all the required paperwork. The first set of papers is all the homes detail information such as taxes, lot size, etc. The second is a review of the financial aspect of buying the home and putting together an offer that works for everyone.
Step 7 – Ongoing Service
When seller accepts our offer, we will continue to provide you with Ongoing Service. We are committed to building a relationship with you, so that even after you move into the new home, if you ever need anything real estate related, we want you to feel free to call us.
